India’s Largest Global Textile Conference, Bharat Tex 2026, Begins in New Delhi Today

Date:

India’s largest global textile conference, Bharat Tex 2026, is set to commence today at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The prestigious event will be inaugurated by Union Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh and is expected to bring together policymakers, global buyers, industry leaders, manufacturers, innovators, investors, and textile professionals from across the world.

Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘5F’ vision—Farm to Fibre, Fibre to Factory, Factory to Fashion, and Fashion to Foreign—Bharat Tex 2026 aims to showcase India’s growing strength as a global textile and apparel hub. The event seeks to promote a seamless and integrated textile value chain while enhancing India’s competitiveness in international markets.

The conference will serve as a premier platform for trade, investment, sourcing, innovation, policy dialogue, technology exchange, and strategic partnerships across the entire textile ecosystem. Participants will explore opportunities in sustainable textiles, technical textiles, digital manufacturing, smart fabrics, exports, startups, and next-generation technologies that are transforming the global textile industry.

Bharat Tex 2026 will also facilitate business-to-business (B2B) and government-to-business (G2B) interactions, enabling domestic and international stakeholders to forge new collaborations and expand market access. A series of exhibitions, conferences, product showcases, buyer-seller meets, and networking sessions will highlight India’s capabilities in textiles, handicrafts, apparel, home furnishings, and technical textile products.

The event is expected to reinforce India’s position as one of the world’s leading textile manufacturing and export destinations while supporting the government’s vision of increasing exports, generating employment, attracting investment, and strengthening the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives.

With participation from leading global brands, international delegations, industry associations, startups, MSMEs, and innovators, Bharat Tex 2026 is poised to emerge as one of the world’s most influential textile events, reflecting India’s commitment to building a sustainable, innovative, and globally competitive textile sector.
