Emphasizing technological self-reliance, the Vice President stated that India must become a creator of technology, not merely a consumer. He highlighted the development of sovereign AI capabilities and indigenous semiconductor manufacturing as crucial for strengthening strategic and technological autonomy. He noted that the semiconductor sector has gained new momentum under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, thereby bolstering the prospects of India’s global technological leadership.

The Vice President highlighted technology as a key pillar of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, recognizing Gnani Artha as a step towards technological self-reliance, innovation and global leadership.
