New Delhi, April 7, 2026: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has issued a ₹3.19 crore tender to appoint a design consultant for the Central Vista metro depot, a crucial facility under the Phase‑V metro expansion. The move aims to enhance connectivity and operational capacity across central Delhi.

Scope: The consultant will prepare detailed architectural, civil, and electrical & mechanical designs for the Central Vista Depot.
Timeline: The work is expected to be completed within 60 months of awarding the contract.
Depot Function: The facility will support train stabling, maintenance, and operations, particularly for the Central Vista corridor and other Phase‑V lines.
